Principal's Corner

Dr. Kristin Rodriguez joined Voss Farms as the principal in July  2022.

“I am so excited to become a Unicorn and be part of the Voss Farms Elementary family,” said Rodriguez. “I look forward to serving the community and am proud to call New Braunfels ISD my new home.”

Rodriguez has been in education for the past 19 years. She began her career in education as an elementary teacher in Frisco ISD (Texas), Renton SD (Washington), and Richardson ISD (Texas). In 2012, she began working in campus administration as an Assistant Principal in East Central before transitioning into her first principal position at East Central Development Center. For the past six years, she has served as Principal of Pecan Valley Elementary School in East Central ISD.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. She earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from The University of Texas at Austin in 2022.

Rodriguez has been married to her husband for the past two years and together they have four children ages 17, 11, 8, and 9 months. They love to go boating on Canyon Lake and are always searching for their next camping adventure.
